Chantel,Sonix and I are having a little debate here. We both visualize theAngels (by the way they let us visualyse them) but it is always mostlyin our imagination-in our head. I have seen Uriel's form only whilewaking up, and for brief moments (fragments of seconds). I know Angels can show themselves physically,bu...t neither Sonix or I can "understand" how this works, and sometimeswe can't communicate if both of us don't have the same understanding(or logical explication of their manifestation). Can you help out?

Let's start off with Exodus 33 (NIV)
12 Moses said to the LORD, "You have been telling me, 'Lead these people,' but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, 'I know you by name and you have found favor with me.' 13 If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people."
14 The LORD replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
15 Then Moses said to him, "If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. 16 How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?"
17 And the LORD said to Moses, "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name."
18 Then Moses said, "Now show me your glory."
19 And the LORD said, "I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the LORD, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 20 But," he said, "you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live."
21 Then the LORD said, "There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. 22 When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. 23 Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen."

That said, let's get to the examining this...
Most psychologists would say that what you're experiencing with Uriel is actually quite common as a person comes out of deep sleep into waking. It is that middle ground where we see all sorts of things. Are you dreaming? Possibly. But that doesn't mean that Uriel ISN'T there. Whether in the dreams of deep sleep or in the heavy-lidded, morning stupor where you're not fully awake, the angel is present.
Now, as a far as seeing them with the physical eyes: The only angel I've seen with my physical eyes is Cassiel, and he scared the bejesus out of me that night. More on him later.
I did ask Michael why is it that he and the gang don't appear to us humans more frequently and his answer was simple: 1) Our being (mind, body, soul) is too fragile to withstand such a sight. 2) Humans tend to deify that which they deem higher than themselves and the last thing the angels want is to be deified. 3) "I'm just too beautiful to be seen by human eyes. Nuff said."
While Michael was kidding on the last point, the other two I can understand. I wanted as a child to see Jesus so badly with my own eyes. Long before the internet, there were always stories of people--especially Catholics--who would see apparitions of Mary and Christ. I was so jealous! When I grew older, I took the question to J.C. himself.
"Why can't I see you, Lord?" I asked one day while sitting in a hospital chapel.
"What would seeing me truly do for you, child?" Well, right then I thought it would make my faith in him unshakable. But the more I thought on it, the more I wondered if that were true.
J.C., the angels and other heavenly hosts are so luminous, so bright, that we humans NEED the filters of our minds to protect us. I told a group a while back at a lecture, if J.C. appeared before me right now, I'd be so scared, I'd probably drop dead of fright. We think we want to see these guys with our physical eyes but the truth of the matter is the first thing you'd experience would be shock, then awe, then fear. IF you can get past the fear, then desire, not love, is sure to follow. But by nature, we humans are panicky lil creatures, so we'd get stuck on shock, awe and fear like a scratched record stuck on repeat.
My god, you see how people flock to a bridge if they think they see Mary in a water stain. Could you imagine the pandemonium if Michael showed up at the Super Bowl? I got two words for you: Sodom and Gomorrah. I'll go out on a limb and clue you guys in on something Mike and Gabe shared with me about that infamous night of fire and brimstone. It was not all about men seeking a good time and a hot night out with the angels. Michael held a wry expression when talking about it, "If I saw myself walking down a street, I'd take notice." (If you're hearing the song, "I'm Too Sexy" in your head right now. Don't feel ashamed.) So, just keep in mind what happened that night--a night that Gabriel vehemently blames Michael for--didn't exactly go down like the accepted story many of us were indoctrinated with, nor was it as terrifying . Eh, I'll write about that in a blog sometime in the future and then wait for the mobs with pitchforks and torches to gather outside my front door.
Moving along....The angels are just that beautiful. They are pure light and we humans would lose our minds if we were to come into direct contact with it. Don't believe me? Run into a room full of hormonal teens and scream, "Oh my god, the Jonas Brothers are outside!" and see if you don't have a stampede on your hands. If we get that reaction over celebrities--who do possess quite a bit of light, which is what makes them alluring--imagine what type of reception Uriel would get if he showed up in burgundy and brown leather riding a Harley? People (women AND men) would tear him apart. It would be like setting stacks of hundred-dollar bills out on a busy New York City street. The humans would all want him, want a part of him and would be driven with so much passion and desire that they would do anything...
...anything to have him. People would kill each other to get to him, just to beg him for a blessing or to intercede for them.
Oh wait, that happened already. I remember that happening to a guy named Jesus way back when. Remember him? One of our history's first rock stars?
Our human minds just could not handle being in the presence of that much power without some type of filters, and that's where our imagination comes into play. As I said in Azrael Loves Chocolate, our ability to imagine, to visualize is what will allow us a HEALTHY relationship with our angelic companions. For many of us on this spiritual path, the filters are calibrated and then recalibrated to let us connect with the angels just a little bit more as we spiritually mature. We go from wondering if the angel we see behind closed eyelids is Michael to knowing it's him and from there we're able to communicate and enjoy fun exchanges with our guides in ways that won't hinder our progress. If Michael appeared to every woman that read my book, the divorce rate would skyrocket, even if Michael implored the women, "Look, I'm just here to help you with your life's purpose and that doesn't include dropping your husband like a hot potato." The same with Iophiel if she were to appear to men. Heaven is nothing less than pure, concentrated beauty....
And we all know what humans do to things we find beautiful. We inevitably destroy it. Or at least we try to. Keeping that in mind, it's best for the angels to work through the filters of imagination--and even faithlessness--to direct us on our spiritual paths. Appearing to us in all their full glory would be about as constructive as detonating an atom bomb.
I know you all want to see the angels for yourself. I would too, but I'll save it for when I cross over. As far as my meeting Cass face to face, I was so mired in my own human junk I couldn't even appreciate that he was there. My human filters, in this case, protected me instead of hindered me. And now that I think on it, another reason Cass probably didn't blind me with his presence is because he works in the shadow realms whereas Michael could melt the sun with his smile.
"I'm too sexy for my tunic, too sexy for my sandals...too sexy for my wings." I think I'll pen a new song in his honor. Think the church choirs will go for it?
(Remember, I walk and talk with the angels, but an angel I am not.)
I hope this helps.

Hi Chantel,
this blog was very enlightening...Michael makes me laugh ^_^. What happened when you met Cass? I have just recent encountered him for the first time the other night....I still can't "see" the ArchAngels but I can feel them when they sit on my bed at night. Normally it has been dear Raphael, but this time it was Cass. I felt him sit on the foot of my bed, he sat there for 5mins than got up - I was wide awake too.
Do you also experience this?

Hi there!
Interesting that you mention Cass sitting on the foot of your bed. This seems to be his modus operandi. He's not only done that to me, but to several other clients that he's visited. Many who have connected with him report either feeling him sit on the foot of the bed or seeing him standing at the foot of the bed.
The angels once again prove they are a consistent bunch of guys...er...and girls.

Hi Chantel,
Just noticed you replied ^^;;. Since I have written to you, I have had more contact with Cass. When I moved he developed a habit of sitting on the window ledge in my room (thats where he said he enters from). And also, I caught him wearing white - yes he wore WHITE - so I could see him with my physical eyes...all I saw was from the chest up, a guy wearing a white hoodie (with hood up). Cass said it was him too.
Michael is defiantly been a ray of sunshine - he LOVES to take over the radio and play songs HE likes. He is a bit of a clown too - I am not too sure what he is with you, but I am finding that he doesn't like Uni...lol I told him to go the sports area, which he actually did go, apparently. I also have had Michael be with me in the library, looking for books to read - he'll point one out, I will open it, and he'll be like "nah..too many words."
I also encountered Uriel for the first time last month. He wanted to make his presence known too - at 4am! I woke with a start and felt this energy (one that you HAVE to obey), but I wasn't scared (thats the only way I can tell if a angel is near). I was about to nod off back to sleep, but he would let me...he wanted to take to my room mate xDD So I had to get her up.
I am also curious about Ariel. I have encountered her, and we get along SO well. She is like my Angelic twin sister, she told me she thinks so as well. Have you encountered her?
The Archangels are mainly a bunch of guys, who think Michael is a bit stupid at times..they all have pretty much told me that. I think it mainly refers to his panks - he has pull a few on me (had him kicking my shins yesterday as he sat across from me at uni. that was until Cass got sick of him doing it and kicked him back...Michael sulked off and got lost in my uni xDDD). Either way Michael is just lovable.
Last thing, my room mate saw Uriel do something you probably you never think he would do during class last week. Apparently, Uriel wondered over to paper bin in her class, he looked into it, picked out a few things. Looked around and jumped into it...we tried to keep this away from Michael..but he eventually found out a few days later.
Okay, I better stop here. I honestly hope you don't mind me telling you all this. I hope you come to Australia sometime, I would LOVE to get a angel reading from you.
